The company's mission shifted from operating small tug and cargo ships to building out and crewing 19 heavily armed, customized Live-Aboard LCM8 landing crafts.

A six-man crew manned each boat, flew the Florida Flag, and usually had a fully loaded giant cooler of morale-saving ice-cold beer to share with their Navy Mobile Riverine, Brown Water, Protectors.  

The mission to deliver Troops and a variety of logistical cargo, including tons of ammunition, through treacherous, enemy-infested Mekong Delta waterways to Army & Navy Mekong remote bases, 1968-69 the year of TET!
